Hyojeong CheonBo 2-day Workshops are held every weekend, and counting from the first Saturday of the month, Saturday-Sunday workshops and Friday-Saturday workshop alternate in the following manner:

1st, 3rd, 5th weekends	Saturday-Sunday workshops

The fee for the 2-day workshop is:

The main highlight of the 2-day workshops are the ancestor liberation ceremonies held every weekend, and the ancestor blessing ceremonies held once a month, usually on the 3rd weekend. Please check the yearly 2-day workshop schedule before coming.

Registration is at the basement 2nd floor of the Heavenly Palace. Registration hours are 14:00 ~ 21:00 on the 1st day of the 2-day workshop, but it is strongly recommended that you register before 18:20, before the Opening Ceremony starts.

It is essential to register on the 1st day of the 2-day workshop as soon as you arrive, especially if you are applying for liberation or blessing. If you apply on the 2nd day, the spirits cannot be liberated and blessed on that 2-day workshop, but will be liberated the following weekend or blessed in the following month.

Great Works

The Hyojeong CheonBo Great Works are held 4 times a year, and they are exceptional periods of intense spiritual works. Members take advantage of this special period, especially if they cannot come to attend long term workshops to do spiritual cleansing. All Great Works are held for 3 days, starting at 6:30 in the morning on the first day with an Opening Prayer Ceremony in Jeongshim Won prayer hall, and ending in the evening of the third day. To receive the full grace of the event it is recommended to participate in the whole schedule, but it is also possible to attend the event partially, as much as your time allows you to.

The main events of each of the Great Works are as follows:

Winter: HyoJeong CheonBo Special Great Works in Commemoration of True Parents’ Birthday and the Anniversary of Foundation Day

This first Great Works of the year is held centered on True Parents’ Birthday (1.6 by the heavenly calendar, January ~ February in the solar calendar), and members come from all over the world to start off the year with Heavenly Fortune.

Main event: True Parents’ Birthday Celebration and HyoJeong Culture Festival

A special celebration commemorating True Parents’ birthday. It is held at the CheongShim Peace World Center, directly attending True Mother.

Spring: Spring Hyojeong CheonBo Great Works for the Inheritance of Heavenly Fortune’

Usually held around the first weekend of May when the azaleas are at full bloom, in the Spring Hyojeong CheonBo Great Works for the Inheritance of Heavenly Fortune, the most members participate, mainly to receive the grace of the Hyojeong Offering Ceremony for the Inheritance of Heavenly Fortune.

Main event: HyoJeong Offering Ceremony for Restoration

A ceremony where the wish papers are dissolved in water and offered to Heaven, expunging the records and memories of the sins of the blessed ancestors. Click here for more

Summer: Hyojeong CheonBo Great Works Commemorating the Anniversary of the Universal Seonghwa of Sun Myung Moon, the True Parent of Heaven Earth and Humankind

The Summer Great Works is held centered on True Father’s Seonghwa Memorial. (7.17 by the heavenly calendar, August ~ September in the solar calendar)

Main event: Seonghwa Festival Commemorating the Anniversary of the True Father’s Universal Seonghwa

A special celebration held at the CheongShim Peace World Center, directly attending True Mother. Usually it is followed by fascinating cultural performances prepared by second generation and youth from each of the different continents of the world.

Autumn: Autumn Hyojeong CheonBo Great Works

Usually this Great Works is held near the last weekend of October. The scenery is especially beautiful, with all the leaves turning color. Members come especially to solve economic problems.

Main event: Tree of All Things Prayer

A candle prayer held at the Tree of All Things with a special candle bequeathed by True Mother, bestowing blessings of all things to all the members to participate.

General 40-day workshop

The 40-day workshop is an important period to repent for all the sinful deeds we committed throughout our lives, knowingly or unknowingly, and to separate evil spirits that are inside our bodies. Repentance starts from understanding Heavenly Parent’s heart and shedding tears for our disloyalty. We must get rid of all our fallen natures and sins. By attending a 40-day workshop we can separate the evil spirits that are inside our bodies and be reborn as the true children that Heavenly Parent and True Parents wish us to be.

The 40-day workshop started from the 40-day special prayer workshop that the elder blessed families who were appointed as national messiahs participated in. True Parents arranged that the leaders attend 40-days first and then later they said, as below, that all members, including second generation need to attend 40-day workshops as well.

“You have to go to Cheongpyeong and cleanse everything that has been dirtied through Satan’s blood lineage. The standard of being able to receive assistance from the angelic world has to be linked starting with the second generation. Therefore, every second generation without exception has to go to Cheongpyeong, and if you cannot have spiritual experiences and cannot know yourself better during a 40-day workshop, you should undergo even 120 days or 6 months of training. All groups that belong to the Unification Church and received blessings, all the groups that have made a relationship with me up to now, there are many people receiving blessings and these people also need to go to Cheongpyeong without exception.” (Morning Pledge on True Parents Birthday on Feb. 2 1998)

CheonBo 40-day workshops that started from these words by True Parents help the participating trainees to develop and become true believers while having amazing spiritual experiences.

1. Workshop Dates

The 40-day workshop is ongoing 365 days a year. The official schedule always starts on a Saturday and ends on a Wednesday, and it is strongly recommended that you come on these dates because you will be attending according to the flow that has been prepared, but as long as you participate continuously for the whole period, you can start any day of the year.

2. Day 1 and Day 40

● Day 1 - The day you arrive in the HJ Heaven and Earth CheonBo Training Center can be considered the first day of your 40-day workshop if you attend the evening Chanyang Session starting at 19:15, but if you come late due to inevitable reasons such as flight arrival time, that day can be counted as your first day of the workshop if you participate in the closing prayer which starts at 22:00.

● Day 40 - The official graduation ceremony ends at lunch time, but it can be considered the last day of your workshop if you attend the morning Chanyang Session which ends at 9:30. We recommend you book a flight not on the 40th day, but 1 or 2 days later in case of any happenings. (You need to pay an extra 18,000won per night if you stay longer than your official workshop period)

3. 21-day workshops and 14-day workshops

If it is difficult to attend 40 days straight, it is possible to split the 40-day workshop into two 21-day workshops. If you are a student in middle school, high school or university, it is also possible to split the workshop into three 14-day workshops. You can only receive the certificate of graduation after completing the second 21-day workshop or third 14-day workshop. (This does not apply to the Special 40-day Workshop for Blessed Wives)

5. Workshop fee

Please pay the workshop fee when you register upon arrival.

●  40-day workshop: 700,000won
* There is a 10% discount if two or more siblings in middle school, high school, or university register for a 40-day workshop together. (630,000won per person)

●  21-day workshop: 350,000won (There is no discount for siblings)

●  14-day workshop: 250,000won (There is no discount for siblings)

Special 40-day Workshop for Blessed Wives

On the 41st True Day of All Things at East Garden, True Father said, “All blessed wives must attend a 40-day workshop in Cheongpyeong.” Following these directions, the 1st Cheongpyeong Special 40-day Workshop for Blessed Wives started with the 36 couples blessed wives on June 25, 2003.

This Special 40-day Workshop for Blessed Wives that started from these words is a workshop so that Heavenly Parent can input each single detail of each individual and family, from name, life, character, etc., so He can bestow blessings upon us.

On November 17, 2004 True Parents received a report on the Special 40-day Workshop for Blessed Wives and once again said that all blessed wives of the world should attend a 40-day workshop in Cheongpyeong, emphasizing the participation of the “Special 40-day Workshop for Blessed Wives.”

Heung Jin Nim and Dae Mo Nim spoke about the meaning of the Special 40-day Workshop for Blessed Wives to the participating trainees as follows:

“On January 13, 2001, True Parents held ‘Coronation of God’s Kingship’. ‘Coronation of God’s Kingship’ is bringing God back to the original position when He created all Creation. At the same time they opened the way so that we could report directly to God.
If this is so and God, from his position of when He created all Creation, asks, ‘You received the blessing and removed original sin, so why did you live like that?’ and asks us to be responsible we have no words to say. This is because the sins that we knowingly committed are very big.
But God said, ‘Blessed wives should come to 40-day workshop and report all their past lives in detail at Jeongshim Won, which is the place we can interact most closely. I could not see the lives that you lived up to now. I could not see because I was in a different position.’ Although He had seen everything, this was the only way he could say so that He would not be accused by Satan.
So this is why God and True Parents of love say, ‘Report in detail all of your lives after the blessing attending 40-day workshop in Cheongpyeong.” This is truly a great blessing. (Dae Mo Nim’s Words March 3, 2005)

The “Special 40-day Workshop for Blessed Wives” is Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ great blessing of love. The blessed wives who participate in this workshop realize that God is always close by with tears of repentance. They look back on their lives and make determination to become the children of God. All blessed wives must attend the Special 40-day Workshop for Blessed Wives and inherit the Heavenly Fortune that Heavenly Parent and True Parents are giving us to be reborn as true children.

If you do not come, your life will be difficult. There is no way to solve and forgive without confessing all your mistakes after receiving the blessing. A time to have direct give and take with God, a period to come face to face, connect your heart, and meet with Him. That is what the blessed wives 40-days workshop is. If you cannot attend the blessed wives 40-day workshop while you are on earth, you need to attend it even after you go to spirit world. You must know it is truly difficult to attend a workshop through your descendants. (Dae Mo Nim’s words, 2007.10.6)

The Special 40-day Workshop for Blessed Wives is held together with the General 40-day workshop. The basic details are the same, except for the fact that it is not possible to split the workshop into two 21-days.

International summer 2nd generation and youth workshop

Every summer the HJ Heaven and Earth CheonBo Training Center holds a 21-day or 40-day workshop for International Youth. The goal of this workshop is to deeply understand the Shimjung (heart) of our Heavenly Parent and True Parents, and to become true owners of Cheon Il Guk. It is also a great chance to meet 2nd generation from all over the world.
Compared to the general 21-day and 40-day workshops which are held throughout the year, this summer youth workshop has more indoor and outdoor activities and is created to meet the interests of young people.

Special Activity: Rafting

1. Eligible Participants

Teenagers Team	Students 12-18 years of age, who understand English. If you graduated high school but have not started college or university, you join this team.

2. Workshop Dates

The workshop is held every year in the summer, and the dates are announced in the beginning of the year when the yearly schedule for Cheongpyeong events is announced.

3. Main Activities

Chanyang (holy song) sessions, full DP lectures, lectures on church history, HDH, holy ground pilgrimage (Cheon Jeong Gung), sports, birthday party, dedication, activities to cultivate the heart, etc.

4. Registration

To prepare well and make it a more effective and fruitful workshop, it is essential for us to know who will be coming. Online registration will start around May or June.

5. Points to consider

Workshops to become a Spirit World and Physical World Blessed Couple

True Parents said that the grace and value of the Spirit World and Physical World Blessing is “opening the path for the spouse of the earthly world and the spouse who went to the spirit world to become an eternal blessed family through the blessing and live as a couple.”

This is a special grace from True Parents for:

1. Members who joined the church after their spouse passed away and could not receive the blessing together on earth

2. Members who are presently not married and will not (cannot) get married while on earth

3. Members who received the blessing together with their spouse but could not conduct the 3-day ceremony before their spouse passed away

To qualify for the Spirit World and Physical World Blessing:

1. Members must be over 60 years of age (If a member under 60 years old wishes to receive the Spirit World and Physical World Blessing, it should be conducted after proper standards are set by the region and nation) AND

2. Members must have received the Single Blessing (attended the Blessing Ceremony officiated by True Parents or a Tribal Messiahship Blessing, etc. with the picture of their spouse or alone)

There are 3 necessary steps to become a spirit world and physical world blessed couple:

1. Spirit World and Physical World Matching Workshop

2. Spirit World and Physical World Blessing (This step is omitted for members who received the blessing on earth as a couple but could not conduct the 3-day ceremony)

3. Workshop for Starting Family Life as a Spirit World and Physical World Blessed Family

* If the person receiving Spirit World and Physical World Blessing cannot participate in the workshops due to old age or health problems, a representative can participate on their behalf. The representative should be a family member or a church leader, etc., and he/she must be responsible for all the procedures of this ceremony until the end and also educate the person receiving the Spirit World and Physical World Blessing about the meaning and value of the blessing and pass on what they learned and experienced in the workshops they participated on their behalf.
